Investment Analyst

As an Investment Analyst, you have the unique opportunity to complete many deals in a Private Equity setting with outstanding professionals who are constantly looking for incremental improvements:

• Work for one of the largest buy-and-build tech organizations, creating a large global platform
• Initiate new investments and become responsible for the entire investment process (including investment proposals, due diligence, valuations, process management and documentation)
• Work in a strong team of top professionals with experience in private equity, finance, banking, technology, consultancy and law

The current investment team consists of 14 investment professionals. In addition, the team works together with a broader team of investment professionals both within Your.Online and at the family office.

Responsibilities
Implement the buy & build strategy by executing a high volume of deals:

• Providing key support across the entire spectrum of deals (€1m to €100m in value), under the guidance of experienced professionals in small deal teams
• Building and analyzing valuation models; drawing up investment proposals; conducting DD research; preparing and discussing presentations and (draft) documentation with internal and external stakeholders
• Mapping and analyzing acquisition candidates and trends in current and new countries and sectors where Your.Online is already active or aspires to become active
• Contributing to building and maintaining relationships with external parties important to Your.Online’s deal flow, such as M&A boutiques, accounting firms, private equity funds, law firms, etc.

Requirements
We are looking for candidates with:

• Completed university (Master’s) education in economics, finance, econometrics, business administration, technical or other quantitative/analytical fields
• 1 to 2 years of relevant work experience in corporate finance (PE, VC, M&A, TS)
• Strong analytical and numerical skills; ability to build and analyze (valuation) models; prepare presentations for both internal and external purposes
• Self-starting and entrepreneurial; able to work on multiple deals simultaneously, take initiative, manage own planning, end-to-end experience with M&A processes, including writing Investment Proposals and running the DD.

The Dutch Strikwerda Investments (SI) is a family office with an investment focus on technology-driven companies.
