Investment Internship

Your.Online was founded in 2017 through the merger of various hosting companies backed by the Dutch private equity family fund Strikwerda Investments. Since 2024, Your.Online and Your.Cloud together form the Your.World business group, with Strikwerda Investments as the financially strong majority shareholder.

Your.World is one of the largest buy-and-build investors in online service providers across Europe and North America, having completed over 90 acquisitions in 8 years. Our rapidly growing group of companies now consists of more than 2,000 employees, with total revenues of €650 million, spread across offices in 8 countries. Further international acquisitions are planned in 9 countries across two continents.

The Your.Online investment team is looking for an Investment Intern to strengthen the Investment Team. We are looking for the following profile:

  • A nearly completed Master’s degree (WO) in Economics, Finance, (Technical) Business Administration, Econometrics, or a STEM degree with a financial focus, or a recent graduate in these fields
  • Immediate availability for 4-5 days per week for a minimum of 3 months
  • Proficiency in Dutch and English, both written and spoken

Responsibilities

  • Conducting Market Analyses and Research
    • Assessing and analyzing potential new geographic markets
    • Performing benchmark analyses of companies
    • Conducting pricing and trend analyses
    • Identifying potential investment targets
  • Analyzing Potential New Investments
    • Preparing company profiles
    • Supporting financial analysis and valuations
  • Supporting M&A Transactions
    • Reviewing investment memoranda and financial data
    • Drafting investment proposals
    • Evaluating due diligence findings
    • Assessing transaction documentation

Your Personality and Experience

  • You are an ambitious student with excellent academic results
  • You are proactive and capable of managing your own workload
  • You have strong skills in Excel and PowerPoint
  • You have experience or a strong affinity with market research and possess sharp analytical skills
  • You are available for 4-5 days per week for at least 3 months
  • Preferred: Previous internship experience in Investment Banking, Private Equity, or Consulting
  • Preferred: Additional language skills (e.g., German, Spanish, French, Italian) due to the international nature of our investments
