Investment Internship
At Your.Online, part of Your.World, investments are the engine of our buy-and-build strategy. As an Investment Intern, you will support the Investment Team in identifying, analyzing, and executing acquisitions that expand our portfolio of 90+ digital businesses across Europe and North America. Your work will directly contribute to the group’s growth, helping to shape the future of online solutions businesses in presence, performance, and trust.
The role in our strategy
Your.Online operates a decentralized model: local companies retain operational autonomy, while the group provides financial expertise, structure, and long-term capital. The Investment Team is central to this approach, ensuring that each acquisition aligns with our strategic objectives and drives sustainable value creation.
In this role, you will:
- Conduct market analyses and research to identify new geographic opportunities and potential investment targets.
- Prepare company profiles, financial analyses, and valuations to support investment decisions.
- Assist in M&A transactions, including reviewing investment memoranda, drafting proposals, and evaluating due diligence findings.
- Collaborate with the team to assess transaction documentation and market trends, directly impacting our acquisition strategy.
Your key responsibilities
- Market Analysis – Assess and analyze potential new markets, perform benchmark analyses, and identify high-potential targets.
- Financial Evaluation – Support financial modeling, valuations, and the preparation of investment proposals.
- Transaction Support – Review due diligence findings and transaction documentation, ensuring alignment with group objectives.
- Stakeholder Collaboration – Work closely with the Investment Team to translate analytical insights into actionable recommendations.
Success in the first months
- Actionable insights: Deliver clear, data-driven analyses that inform investment strategies and market entry decisions.
- Transaction readiness: Contribute to the preparation and evaluation of investment proposals, supporting seamless execution.
- Network expansion: Build relationships with internal teams and external stakeholders, enhancing your understanding of M&A in a fast-growing, private equity-backed environment.
Your profile
- Nearly completed Master’s degree (WO) in Economics, Finance, (Technical) Business Administration, Econometrics, or a STEM degree with a financial focus; recent graduates are also welcome.
- Immediate availability for 4–5 days per week, for a minimum of 3 months.
- Proactive, ambitious, and capable of managing your own workload with excellent academic results.
- Strong Excel and PowerPoint skills; experience with market research and sharp analytical abilities.
- Fluent in Dutch and English; additional language skills (e.g., German, Spanish, French, Italian) are a plus.
- Preferred: Previous internship experience in Investment Banking, Private Equity, or Consulting.
