# Investment Internship

At Your.Online, part of [Your.World](https://your.world/), investments are the engine of our buy-and-build strategy. As an Investment Intern, you will support the Investment Team in identifying, analyzing, and executing acquisitions that expand our portfolio of 90+ digital businesses across Europe and North America. Your work will directly contribute to the group’s growth, helping to shape the future of online solutions businesses in presence, performance, and trust.

**The role in our strategy**
Your.Online operates a decentralized model: local companies retain operational autonomy, while the group provides financial expertise, structure, and long-term capital. The Investment Team is central to this approach, ensuring that each acquisition aligns with our strategic objectives and drives sustainable value creation.

In this role, you will:

- Conduct market analyses and research to identify new geographic opportunities and potential investment targets.
- Prepare company profiles, financial analyses, and valuations to support investment decisions.
- Assist in M&A transactions, including reviewing investment memoranda, drafting proposals, and evaluating due diligence findings.
- Collaborate with the team to assess transaction documentation and market trends, directly impacting our acquisition strategy.

**Your key responsibilities**

- **Market Analysis** – Assess and analyze potential new markets, perform benchmark analyses, and identify high-potential targets.
- **Financial Evaluation** – Support financial modeling, valuations, and the preparation of investment proposals.
- **Transaction Support** – Review due diligence findings and transaction documentation, ensuring alignment with group objectives.
- **Stakeholder Collaboration** – Work closely with the Investment Team to translate analytical insights into actionable recommendations.

**Success in the first months**

- Actionable insights: Deliver clear, data-driven analyses that inform investment strategies and market entry decisions.
- Transaction readiness: Contribute to the preparation and evaluation of investment proposals, supporting seamless execution.
- Network expansion: Build relationships with internal teams and external stakeholders, enhancing your understanding of M&A in a fast-growing, private equity-backed environment.

**Your profile**

- Nearly completed Bachelor’s or Master’s degree (WO) in Economics, Finance, (Technical) Business Administration, Econometrics, or a STEM degree with a financial focus; recent graduates are also welcome.
- Immediate availability for 4–5 days per week, for a minimum of 3 months.
- Proactive, ambitious, and capable of managing your own workload with excellent academic results.
- Strong Excel and PowerPoint skills; experience with market research and sharp analytical abilities.
- Fluent in Dutch and English; additional language skills (e.g., German, Spanish, French, Italian) are a plus.
- Preferred: Previous internship experience in Investment Banking, Private Equity, or Consulting.

**What we offer you**

- Strategic impact: Hands-on experience in M&A and investments at a leading buy-and-build investor in digital services.
- Professional growth: The opportunity to contribute to high-impact transactions and gain exposure to international investment strategies.
- Hybrid working: A brand-new office near Amsterdam-Zuid, with the option to work remotely.
- Competitive compensation: Internship salary and public transport reimbursement.
- Career potential: Opportunity for a full-time position upon successful completion of the internship.
