Your role
As Data Engineer at Your.Online, you will develop and maintain the core data infrastructure that enables business steering, forecasting, and M&A integration. You will ensure the scalability, consistency, and performance of our centralized data platform, while aligning with stakeholders across the group.

You’ll be part of a central Business Intelligence team and collaborate closely with fellow engineers, analysts, and the Manager BI, as well as international partners across our portfolio companies.

Your key responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable data architecture
• Integrate and onboard data from various internal and acquired systems
• Monitor and manage data quality, consistency, security, and governance
• Build and optimize ETL/ELT processes to support reporting and analytics
• Continuously improve performance of data ingestion, storage, and processing
• Work cross-functionally in project teams to deliver on business objectives
• Stay ahead of industry trends and embed innovations into our data stack
• Promote a data-driven culture and best practices across the group

What you bring

• Minimum of 3 years’ experience, preferably as a Data Engineer
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in IT, Software Engineering, or a related field
• Relevant certifications in data engineering and Microsoft technologies
• Proficiency in English and Dutch (spoken and written)
• Strong expertise with Microsoft Azure, Fabric, SQL, and Python
• Expert in design and implementation of performing relational and dimensional data models
• Familiarity with DevOps, CI/CD, ITIL, and Agile
• Proven analytical skills and attention to detail
• Experience with data governance and (master) data management
• Project management and stakeholder communication capabilities
